Are you a communications pro? Do you love to plan events? Or are you a planning nerd who is looking for another outlet for identifying and sharing cool environmental planning topics and research?

If you answered "yes!" to any of the above, then we have a role for you!

  • Newsletter Development and Production: assist our communications executive committee chair with development of the quarterly newsletter. This would involve helping identify content, conducting interviews, soliciting contributors, and helping with design and distribution.
  • Member Communications: assist our communications executive committee chairs with member communications. This would involve helping identify content and executing e-blasts, social media updates, and web page updates. 
  • Webinars: assist our professional development executive committee chair with developing webinars based on topics identified by the executive committee. This would involve identifying and reaching out to speakers, ensuring webinars meet APA CM requirements, and executing webinar using APA Learn.
  • National Planning Conference Events: are you planning on going to NPC this year? Our professional development executive committee chair would welcome your help planning and executing events for the conference and helping develop swag.
